"She works hard for the money," Donna Summer once sang, and just as the case was in 1983, pop stars these days have on the butt proceed through to the buy the album, downloads, and concert ticket sales in this age of deserve to YouTube, X-Box and Angry Birds.
But while some singers engaged to identify with the Protestant work ethic of Donna, there are others who, like Bruno Mars says, "not the feeling of doing something [and] just want to just lay in my bed." And it is not always the only who are hardworking, who find success, as the popularity of Bruno proves. Sometimes you can eat the cake and it.
So, work hard and who does not? In the spirit of Christmas we have decided to compile a pop star naughty and nice list for Santa.
Hardest-Working Stars of 2011
Lady Gaga
Was there any doubt that Gaga would not create this list? Since her show-stopping arrival on the pop music scene, Gaga has redefined what it is in the 21 Century pop star, merging avant-garde fashion, pop hooks, and social activism, as no one else can mean. Marked this year, the released of sophomore Gaga Full lengthalbum, Born This Way, and to ensure that the success of the impeccable The Fame / Fame voted Monster Gaga her butt from promoting it worked out, the implementation at the Grammys, VMAs and countless other TV shows, while searching for the time, especially for gay rights, direct their own music video ("Marry the Night") and even the direction of their own Thanksgiving feast. How's that for service?
Rihanna
Three years, three albums: It's the kind of frenetic speed, Rihanna has been working since she left Chris Brown in 2009. This year alone, Rihanna has released six singles (!): "S & M", "California King Bed," "Man Down," "Cheers (Drink to That)" and "We Found Love" and her latest single "you as One. "Rihanna also found time to guest on tracks by Kanye (" All of the Lights "), Nicki Minaj (" Fly "), Drake (" Take Care ") and surprising artists such as Coldplay (" Princess of China ") and the Lonely Iceland ("Shy Ronnie 2: Ronnie & Clyde"). We have simply by typing everything that is tired! Note that Rihanna cranked out all the while under their loud tour in over 20 countries for 100 days. The amazing thing is that 2012 looks to be just as crazy as they talk to who say and preps for the release of her feature film debut, promoting more "Battleship".
Katy Perry
Many of the artists, after having enjoyed the kind of breakout years in 2010, Katy was chosen to take some time and enjoy the fruits of their success have. But Katy is not one of them. After "California Girls" and "Teenage Dream" ginormous hits in the last year, Katy displace further hit after another, with "fireworks", "ET", "Last Friday Night (TGIF)" and "The One That Got Away" all ubiquitous radio staples. Besides hunting chart history - when "The One That Got Away" hits No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, Katy is the first artist to six singles have taken from an album the first place to be - Katy also found time "Saturday host Night Live "tour of the world's voice and a character in" the Smurfs ". No wonder it is our artist of the year.
Laziest Stars of 2011
Britney Spears
OK, I realize that Britney executed her ass on her Femme Fatale tour, but where the star was on TV? In February, I was wondering why Britney had had so few public appearances, when they had to release a new album, and while we finally saw a handful of shows such as perform, "Good Morning America," its promotional schedule was not occurred as compared to that of Gaga, RiRi or Justin Bieber. Now that Britney has allegedly committed and will take some time off, it's very likely we will not see much of the 30-year-olds not in 2012. We miss hearing from you, Britney! How about another MTV "For the Record" documentary on releasing your next album?
Adele
Why we are calling the best-selling author (by far) Artist of the Year 2011 lazy? It's all because of the "Rolling In The Deep" really. The video for her hit single, she has pretty much sitting on a chair the entire duration of the song. Compare their efforts to, say, Gaga's efforts in "Marry the Night," and you would agree that Adele has a good gig, right? In fact, Adele is good-natured ribbing, they conceded that recorded over the video. In a July blog post on her website, she wrote a great singer "! Puzzled about the VMA nominations Thank you thank MTV I'm celebrating the release of a series of chairs thinking" with a great sense of humor - the is something worth celebrating.

Justin Timberlake
Five years after the publication of Futuresexlovesounds (Gulp. it was so long?), Justin Timberlake Is now a serious Hollywood leading man with roles in this year in "Friends With Benefits" and "In Time". But while it is admirable that Justin's honing his craft, I must say, I'm always nervous wait for a new J. Timberlake record! Come on, Justin! It's been 5 years! And if Rihanna can make a film and an album, so can you! We need some new music from you, please!
