The letters representing Stefan Kendal Gordy and Skyler Gordy Husten originally meant "laughing my ass off f --- ING," but the name has since been cleaned to mean "love my friends and others," since their rise to fame . Stefan is the uncle of Skyler, and their stage names are the DJs and Redfoo SkyBlue respectfully. Stefan is eleven years old Skyler higher. Father Stefan Berry Gordy, who founded Motown Records.

Although the style of music is rap, like to call their rock duo went to work, and they write many of their own words. The two members grew up in Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles and formed their group in 2006. They were signed to Interscope in 2008 and that year released "Party Rock EP" on iTunes.
